Perfect for a cozy getaway
We had a splendid time at this charming place. The hosts, Deb and Ashley, were super friendly and even surprised us with freshly made cream tea in the gorgeous garden.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but honestly worth every penny.

The Old Mill House offers a delightful combination of charm and comfort, featuring a beautifully maintained garden by a stream. The breakfast was outstanding, with a buffet of fresh fruit and a cooked menu that includes a selection like eggs florentine or eggs royale, perfectly executed. The hosts, Debbie and Ashley, provided attentive service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience.
parking across a busy road could be a safety concern.

what a wonderful stay! we had a lovey king room with a river view. the breakfast was absolutely amazin, fresh and tasty! debbie and ashley are super friendly and their attention to detail is great. we really enjoyed the bistro for dinner, it was the best meal we had!
the buses are rarely on time so expect long waits if ur relying on public transport. also, could use more pillow options since we found the ones provided a bit uncomfy.

Lovely stay with great hosts
Just spent 3 nights at this charming place. The Deluxe King Room was super comfy and clean. Breakfast was a highlight, had some seriously delicious omelettes! Hosts were really friendly and even let my friends join for brekkie. Only thing is parking can get a bit tight sometimes, but that didn’t ruin my time.

Perfect getaway for nature lovers
We had such a nice stay! Debbie was super welcoming, and our room had a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was top-notch, and we really enjoyed the Bistro – the food was delish! Only thing was the walk to town was a bit longer than expected, but the countryside views made it worth it.

A wonderful stay featuring a lovely room with a charming view of the garden and stream. The breakfast offered a fantastic selection, while the evening bistro provided exquisite meals and great value. Unfortunately, parking requires a contribution, which could be inconvenient for some guests, and a few areas of the property felt slightly dated. Nevertheless, the friendly service made up for it and certainly enhanced the experience.

Charming Hospitality and Delicious Dining
What a delightful stay! The accommodations were cozy and filled with character, and the breakfast was exceptional, featuring freshly made items and locally sourced ingredients. The family-run atmosphere made for a warm experience, and being able to relax by the stream was truly a highlight. I wish there had been more hanging space in the room to store our belongings comfortably.

The Old Mill House features charming decor with lovely touches, including a delightful garden by the stream, making it a serene retreat for seniors. The layout is easy to navigate, enhancing accessibility and comfort during my stay.
More seating options in the garden would be ideal.
